Irene May Simm

At Bluewater Health on Thursday, October 31, 2013, IRENE MAY (DOWNIE) SIM, age 88, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Robert James Sim. Dear sister of Muriel McIntyre of Sarnia and sister-in-law of Ron Sim and his wife Edna and Helen Sim all of Sarnia. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A lifelong Sarnia area resident, Mrs. Sim was pre-deceased by her parents Chester and Nellie Downie and a brother Ross. A member of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, Mrs. Sim was a very talented artist whose paintings have been enjoyed by many. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Wednesday, November 6 th. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ray Hodgson of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church officiating. Interment of ashes to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
