Irene Miller

Irene passed away peacefully at Fiddick's Nursing Home on Saturday August 25, 2012, in her 81st. Year. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, S. John Miller, her daughter Shelley Parsons (Ron Wilson), her son Mark Miller (Laurieann) of Georgetown, her grandchildren, Matt Parsons (Breanne Lea) of Brights Grove, Lindsey Parsons (Steven Riffel) of Kamloops, Brittany Miller of Calgary and Diondra Miller of Halifax. Predeceased by her parents William and Annie Scott and her brothers George Scott and Don Scott. She is survived by her sister Evelyn (Jack) Simpson, sister in-laws Cecile Scott and Evelyn Scott all of Sarnia, Dorothy McCracken (Toronto) and Virginia (Grant) Armstrong of Mississauga, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Prdeceased by her sister in-law Helen Fraser and brother in-laws Clare Fraser and William McCracken. Irene enjoyed travelling the world in the company of her sister and sister in-laws with Ireland, Scotland, Europe and South America being her favorite destinations and was an avid bridge player for many years. She also enjoyed visiting and keeping track of her grandchildren and was very proud of them and their accomplishments, as well as spending many years attending, volunteering and being a member of the choir at Central United Church. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Michael Fiddick, Maxine Fiddick and to the entire staff of Fiddick's Nursing Home for their compassionate and thoughtful care during these last eight years.
