Ilean Williams

WILLIAMS, ILEAN - Peacefully at Afton Park Place, Sarnia on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, Ilean Williams, passed away at the age of 85. She was the loving Mother to Linda Evers and her husband Larry, Carol DunSeith and her husband John. She was adored by her grandchildren Pam, Jay, DeeDee and Nic. She leaves behind her brother Jim Darrach and sister in law Joyce, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Ed. Ilean became one of the first Activity Directors to be employed by Marshall Gowland Manor and loved every minute of her day. She was gifted with a beautiful singing voice of which she often shared. Our Mother was a kind, loving, gentle soul with a great sense of humour that she maintained till the very end. She was very dedicated to her church and very strong in her faith. A special thank you to her two long time friends Ena Morphew and Helen Emmett for their many beautiful cards, phone calls and for remaining loyal friends to the end. A very special thank you to all the staff at Afton Park Place for the kind and compassionate care our Mother received. We truly felt like family with staff and residents alike. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Family Counselling Centre (STARRting Point Program), Pathways Health Centre, Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice. The D. J.
