Hugh Murphy

At Bluewater Health on Saturday, July 16, 2011, HUGH FRANKLIN MURPHY, age 82, of Corunna, beloved husband of Lou (Mundy) Bromberg-Murphy and the late Ruby Lila Marie (Gamble) Murphy (1987). Dear father of Hugh Murphy Jr. (Janet) and Darlene Hall (Ron) all of Sarnia, Gail Boden (Brian) of Whitby, Robert Murphy (Melanie) of Belle River and stepfather of Mary Lou Sharpe (Bill) of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Crystal, Joseph, Mark, Julie, Kyle, Trevor, Dave, Ramie, David and Kelly and great grandfather of Shelby. Also survived by two brothers and one sister. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service was held at Lakeview Cemetery. A reception in Hugh's honour will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, BRANCH #477 CORUNNA, on Thursday, July 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Any of Hugh's fiddling friends are encouraged to bring your instrument. Sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lung Association.
