At Bluewater Health of Sarnia on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, HILDA JUNE (HARDWICK) DAYMAN, age 87 passed away. She was the loving wife of Gerald Fredrick Dayman for 67 years and dear mother of Cynthia Harris (Mark) of Sarnia, grandmother of S. Wesley Harris of Toronto. She was predeceased by her parents George and Ruth Hardwick and her sister Marie Chadwick. Hilda retired from Imperial Oil Ltd. after 25 years of service as a buyer in the Purchasing Department. She was a life member of Patterson Memorial Presbyterian Church and was a member of the church choir for 72 years. Her interests included sewing, needle work and knitting. She was a talented soloist at weddings, funerals and other gatherings. She sang her first solo at the age of 4 and participated in many competitions and music festivals. Funeral services will be held at Patterson Memorial Presbyterian Church (120 Russell St S, Sarnia) on Monday, November 16th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Sunday, November 15th between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
