Hendrik deKant

Peacefully with his family by his side at St. Joseph's Hospice on Thursday, December 12, 2013, Hendrik deKant passed away at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Hilda deKant (Archer) 2005. Dear father of Virginia and Bruce Mc Fadden, Rosemary deKant, Diana and Tony Cocozzolli and Katherine Steinberg .Will be missed by his ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Will be greatly missed by his companion Fran Lyon. Predeceased by his son Philip deKant, his parents Verginia and Philip Versnick. The family wishes to thank all of their friends in their time of need. Very special thanks to Mark for being the best neighbour.Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.Family would like to invite friends to 320 Exmouth Street from for a light lunch and punch from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. following the funeral service.
