Helen Ford

Memories are knit with love, one stitch at a time... HELEN ISABEL FORD - It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Helen Ford on June 16, 2011, at the age of 91, beloved wife of the late William K. Ford. Helen was a Registered Nurse at Sarnia General Hospital. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, sister, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed. She was a talented knitter who made many contributions to her friends, off spring and the local bazaars. Helen leaves behind her three children: Rosemary Ford; Katherine Lambert (and her husband Gordon Lambert); and, Norman Ford (and his wife Lori Ford); five grandchildren: Erin Ford (and her partner Lee Know); Dana Miller (and her husband Shane Miller); Justin Lambert (and his wife Kealy Lambert); Caitlin Lambert; and, Megan Graham; and, three great grandsons: Aidan Know, Hudson Know and Mitchell Lambert. Helen died peacefully in her home at Marshall Gowland Manor . We would like to express our heart felt appreciation to all the staff who made her life at the home one of joy and happiness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marshall Gowland Manor or the Canadian Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at MARSHALL GOWLAND MANOR, 749 Devine Street, Sarnia, Ontario. The service will be followed by a light lunch. The interment will be held at Sarnia's Lakeview Cemetery the same day.
