GOODFELLOW, Harry - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Goodfellow, age 91, of Sarnia. He passed away at St. Joseph's Hospice on Friday, December 20, 2013, lovingly surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Marlys, and his loving daughters Lynne (Paul) MacDonald, Kelly (John) Leaver, Justene (Larry) Phoenix and Joey (Glen) Harding; sons Drew Goodfellow and Kevin (Gail) Adamson. He will always be remembered as a very special "Bumpa" by all his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jeff Bustard, Becky, Skilar and Anson St. Pierre, Courtney McPhail, Jake, Aly, Josh and Joe Phoenix, Paige and Sarah Harding and Devin Easter, Tyler Adamson and Kerby (Luis) Pacheco. He is also survived by his dear little sister Vera (Karl) Janssen, Sisters-in-law Doreen (Ivan) Battista, Bonnie Cammidge and brother-in-law Bill (Gloria) Morgan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Harry will also be sadly missed by his dear friend, Rick Birmingham, who was like a brother to him.
Harry is predeceased by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Louise and their dear son, Richard, also by five wonderful brothers, Robert, Stanley, Jack, Tommy, and Raymond as well as three beautiful sisters, Joan, Margaret and Emily, as well as sisters-in-law Georgia and Phyllis. Harry was a long time resident of Corunna/Sarnia and President of Dallas Haul Inc. He was also a member of Tuscan 437 and Mocha Temple.
Memorial service will take place on Sunday January 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Sarnia, with the Rev. John Cruickshank and the Rev. Lloyd Murdock officiating. Visitation at D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria Street, Sarnia, on Saturday January 4, 2014 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Tuscan Lodge #437 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday evening at 6:45 pm. In memory of Harry, donations would be greatly appreciated by the family to St. Joseph's Hospice, Sarnia or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Sarnia.
