Guy Wilfred St. Jean

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Bluewater Health Palliative Care, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, Guy Wilfred St. Jean, age 73 of Sarnia passed away after a very long battle with cancer. He is survived by his much loved partner and wife of 50 years Marlene Leduc and was the caring father of Stephen St. Jean, Dana Firth (Chris) and Michael Dukeshire (Amber), the treasured Pere of Tessa Reaume (Jake), Lola Leduc, Lilly and Braxton Firth, Bennett, Blake and Max Dukeshire. Guy will be missed by his dear sisters Suzanne, Collette and Gisele along with many, many nieces, nephews and friends. He is also survived by his in-laws Wayne Leduc (Patricia), Archie Leduc (Rosslyn), Cheryl Leduc, Marty Vary (Tammy), Denise Christiansen (Mark) and Andrew Vallee. He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Regina, his sisters Joyce, Martha and Diane and brothers Marcel, Reo, Allen and Pin. Guy was a very proud Member of the Ironworkers Local 700 and every drive down the River Road was a full tutorial of his many jobs he worked on. We wish to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lilly and his nurses April and Marissa in the Palliative Care Unit on the 5th floor. A hole has been left in the hearts of all of his “very” large family and many friends. In keeping with Guy’s wishes, private cremation arrangements have taken place by the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9) and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #62, at 286 Front Street N. Sarnia.
