At Bluewater Health on Thursday, May 26, 2011, GREGORY THOMAS CARTER, age 52, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Margaret Mary (Curtin) Carter. Dear father of Lorna and Kelly at home. Dear son of Betty Peters and her husband Doug of Sarnia and Harvey Carter and his wife Avis of Wyoming. Dear brother of Mark Carter and his wife Diane of Camlachie, Matt Carter and his wife Shelly of Oil Springs and Brad Carter and his wife Angela of Croton. Step-brother of Lynda Carlyle and Tracie Giesbrecht both of St. Catharines and Janice Douglas of Guelph. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A lifelong Sarnia area resident, Greg was a graduate of the Lambton College Electrical Engineering Program and had been employed at Lanxess and formerly with Suncor. A world champion in the art of Tae Kwon Do, he had operated Sarnia Tai Kwon Do for over ten years. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Saturday, May 28 th. at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
