Godfrey James Kenneth Walter Dopson, 72, of Sarnia Ontario, passed away on September 8th 2013. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM September 11th 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessess 608 Errol Rd West. Godfrey was born in Colnbrook, Staines, England on September 9th 1940. Godfrey was married to Carole on September 7th 1963, they were married fifty years. Godfrey Dopson is survived by loving and dedicated wife Carole Dopson. Children, Louise (Mike), Sarah (Bruce), Simon (Senka), Paul (Aili), Josh (Shyanne). Grandchildren: Benjamin (Vicky), Brittany, Jakob, Olivia, Hayden, Logan, Ethan, Jade, Owen, Massimo, Domonic. Godfrey was a loving, loyal and devoted husband. He was a wonderful father and grandfather always kind and loving. Godfrey was a caring member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was very much concerned with the spiritual needs of the congregation and that of the community. As such he spent many hours sharing Bible truths with friends and neighbours. Godfrey worked at Nova Chemicals and retired in 2004. He enjoyed photography, art and plaster making. He and his wife Carole manufactured many stunning pieces of home d郩cor stoneware for their business Unique Accessories. Godfrey Dopson is preceded in death by his parents; Bertram and Mildred Dopson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, PO Box 4100 Georgetown, ON L7G 4Y4
