Gertrude Lucy Wicks

Wicks, Gertrude Lucy (Scott). Passed away at Bluewater Health at the age of 98. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack Wicks. Dear mother of Lynda (John) Yager and Doug (Maureen) Wicks. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Kimberly (Mitch), David (Teri), Kelly and Patrick and five great - grandchildren. Dear sister of Myrtle Salter (late W. Lucas, W. Salter) and Barbara Brennan (late John), and sister - in - law of Maureen O'Hearn (Russell). She is predeceased by sister Beryl Sutherland and brothers Stan and Mickey Scott. The family wishes to thank the very caring staff at Rosewood Manor and the wonderful doctors and nurses at Bluewater Health and her family doctor, Doctor E. Gamble. Mrs. Wicks enjoyed bridge, reading, and membership in her I.O.D.E. Chapter, watching her beloved Maple Leafs, but most of all her family. Funeral services will be held from the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
