Gertrude Ross

At Marshall Gowland Manor on Saturday, January 31, 2009, GERTRUDE IRENE (STANLAKE) ROSS, age 95, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late William Ian Ross (1973). Dear mother of Ruth Ann Ross of Strathroy, Donald Ross (Bette) of Sarnia and Thomas Ross (Patricia) of Calgary. Also survived by loving grandchildren Martin, Barbara, Kevin, and Heather and great grandchildren Hayley and Kaiya. Sister of Eileen Ferguson and her husband Leo of Wyoming. A lifelong Sarnia resident, Mrs. Ross was a member of Parker Street United Church and the United Church Ladies as well as a Charter Member of the Pilot Club of Sarnia. Funeral service will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, February 5th at 1:00 pm. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
