Suddenly at Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Friday, December 18, 2009, GERHARD HORST SCHMID, age 72, of Sarnia, beloved companion of Margaret Anne McEvoy. Survived by numerous nieces, a nephew, a sister-in-law and several great nieces and nephews in Germany as well as the many members of Margaret's family. Born in Germany, Mr. Schmid had resided in the Sarnia area for the past four years following his retirement from C. T. S. in Streetsville. Cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Charity of Choice (cheques only please.
