Georgina Sturgeon Simpson

On Monday, August 11, 2014, GEORGINA STURGEON (FISHER) SIMPSON, age 75 of Sarnia passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was the loving wife of the late George Alexander Sweeney Simpson (1999) and loving mother of Hugh Simpson and his wife Julie of Oil Springs, George Simpson and his wife Candice of Napanee and Lesley Sercombe of St. Thomas, grandmother of Justine, Alex, Heather, Luke, Adam, Alexander and Ciara, mother in law of Doug Sercombe, sister of Maisie Morrison, Samuel and Jean Fisher and Marie Mulligan, sister in law of Pam Fisher and Jean Fisher and very dear friend of Helen McCabe. She was predeceased by her parents George and Mary Fisher, her sister Betty Hall, brothers George and James Fisher. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Georgina was born in Scotland and came to Canada in 1978. She was a volunteer with Bluewater Charity Bingos. She was a member of the RCAFA - #403 Wing and was very active in bowling and darts. • Details: Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday between the hours of 6:00 to 9:00 pm. and again on Saturday beginning at noon until service time.

• Location: D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre
• Details: Funeral services will be held at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
