At Bluewater Health on Friday, August 29, 2014, GEORGINA PHYLLIS (AVEY) ROGERS, age 77 of Sarnia was "Promoted to Glory". She was the dear mother of Susan Rogers, Brenda Went and Shaun Rogers, Grandmother of Shaina, Shaun - Michael, Seth, Jocelyn, Sierra, Jerrad, Joshua and Jonathan and great-granddaughters Miriam and Zahira. She is also survived by her loving cousin Heather Miller and her husband Ben as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents George and Sheba, sisters, Isabel and Shirley and her brother Wilfred. Georgina was a long time member of the Salvation Army. A celebration of Georgina's life will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 970 Confederation St., Sarnia on Friday, September 5th at 11:00 am. Friends are invited to visit at the Citadel on Friday from 10:00 am until service time. Sympathy expressed through donations to Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
