George Wiles

At Bluewater Health Palliative Care, Sarnia on Wednesday evening April 15, 2009 GEORGE W. J. WILES at age 83. Beloved husband of Margaret Wiles. Cherished and loving father of Lynn (Bill) Dagg, Evelyn (Stan) Newman, all of Sarnia and David (Albina) Wiles of Brights Grove, 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Stepfather to David (Barb) Howes, Petrolia. Brother of Don and Jack Wiles and Margaret Bruckman. George was a resident of Sarnia and most recently Wyoming. He was a veteran of WWII and worked many years at Prestolite until its closing and later at Ross Steel for several years. Predeceased by parents James and Margaret Wiles. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Monday April 20th at 11:00 am. with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Sunday afternoon between the hours of 2-4 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia Humane Society (cheques only please).
