Gaspare Sproviero

Suddenly at Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, GASPARE JOSEPH SPROVIERO, age 59, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Lynn Alexis Sproviero. Dear father of Laurie Sproviero-Mollison and her husband Tom of Sarnia/Michigan. Dear brother of Frank Sproviero and his wife Allen of Brampton and Connie Nestico and her husband Joe of Woodbridge. Also survived by his buddy é¢a‚A"Bentleyé¢a‚ the dog. Pre-deceased by his parents Maria and Michele Sproviero, Gaspare was a prominent Sarnia area businessman where he was the proprietor of Built-Rite Doors in Sarnia for over 30 years. A member of All Saints Anglican Church, he was a very dedicated volunteer in the community. He was a past distinguished Lt. Gov of the Sarnia Optimist Clubs, a member of the Kinsman Club, and played Santa Claus for area sick children. He volunteered for the Canadian Diabetes Association, a life member of the Dante Club and was a Board Member of the Sarnia Lakeshore Optimists. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Gaspare's life will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, February 11 th. at 11:00 a.m. with Father Nick Wells officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the V. O. N. or the charity of choice.
