Gary George Fitzpatrick

At Bluewater Health on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Gary Fitzpatrick, age 87 of Corunna passed away. He was the loving husband and Best Friend of Beverly Fitzpatrick for 67 years and adored father of Chris (Vicki), Kelly (Ronny), Jill (Kevin) and Brett, grandfather of Lisa, Tyrel, Brianne, Bryn, Kourtlan, Konnor, Ashton, Keyvin and Coleson, great-grandfather of Skyler, Pearce, Amadeus, Artimes and Forest. He is also survived by his sister Lorna Smith (Bruce), sister in law Carolyn Ashton and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was proud retired member of the Pipefitters Union, Local #663. He was a pet and animal lover, an avid golfer and multiple time club champion of the Canterbury Golf Club. He also played hockey and was a member of the inaugural Sarnia Legionnaires Hockey Team and was a hockey coach of many boys and girls teams, a hockey fan and giver of advice to his hockey playing grandsons.

The family would like to give a big thank you to: Care Partners, March of Dimes, VON and the Cool Aid Program for all their help. The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9). A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date.
