Gail Isabel Durance

Durance, Gail Isabel (née Le Tourneau).

 Gail was born on July 7th 1945. She passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2019 at Sarnia Bluewater Health Centre at the age of 73. Gail is survived by her husband, Don Durance and her four children; Donny, Patti, Stirling and Todd Durance. She loved and will be fondly remembered by her daughters- and son-in-laws; Beth, Melissa, Amy Durance and David Sie. Gail will be dearly missed by her nine grandsons; Christopher, Daniel, Matthew, Nathan, Aydin, Logan, and Sydney Durance, and Finley and Oscar Sie. Marlene Myles will cherish a lifetime of memories of her niece. Gail was involved with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets Corps REPULSE since 1989 as the Administration Officer for 15 years. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends of Sarnia, Forest, Corunna, and Howdenvale. Gail is predeceased by her father, Ralph John Le Tourneau and by her mother Ila Jean Le Tourneau (née Myles), grandmother Violet Isabella Myles (née Smith) and by her aunt Lorraine, and uncles Stirling (inf.), Garnet, Lorne, Bruce, Graydon, and Bernard. Many special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Sarnia Bluewater Health Centre and Marshall Gowland Manor for their kind support in Gail's last few days. Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life at the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps REPULSE located at 105 South Christina Street on Sunday, March 3rd from 1:00-4:00pm.
