Allan Rydgren

On March 2nd, 2025, at 3:00 pm, our Dad passed away peacefully as family shared stories and good times at his bedside. Frank Allan Rydgren was the beloved husband of Audrey Jean Rydgren, lovingly together for 68 years. He was the treasured father of Kathryn (Bob) and the late Elizabeth. Allan adored his grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal (Jordan) and Scott. He cherished his great grandchildren Logan, Lilly, Maverick and Kaden. He was the brother of Stuart Rydgren (Sally), Arlene Mullen (Don) and uncle to many cousins.

Allan loved living in Sarnia and enjoyed his time as a parishioner at Trinity Anglican Church. He was well respected at Golders Associates where he worked as a Geo Technical Lab Supervisor. He also taught and set up Engineering Labs at the University of Toronto. Dad and Mom travelled the world and always shared their adventures with family. Dad was very proud of his time he served in the U.S Military from 1954-1962 with the U.S Core of Engineer's. He will be very much missed by all who loved him. A visitation will be held on March 14th, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am at Trinity Anglican Church, 1194 Murphy Road, Sarnia. It will be followed by a Celebration of Allan’s life at 11:00 in the church chapel. A committal service will take place at Lakeview Cemetery following a reception.
