At Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Monday, June 7, 2010, FRANCES MABLE (SAYERS) SHOWERS, age 82, of Sarnia, dear wife of Robert Showers. Loving mother of Heather Gadsden (Jim) of Thedford, Catherine Dayman (Kevin) of Forest, Scott Bell (Suzanne) of London, Michael Showers (Michelle) of Brights Grove, Bonnie DeFlorio (Tony) of Barrie, Susan Cherred (Glen) of Corunna and Sandra Davis (Carol) of Burford. Grandmother of Amanda, John, Anne, Jonathan, Emma and Madysen and great gramma of Amelia. Sister of Evelyn Nichols (Malcom) and Walter Sayers (Janet) all of Sarnia, Ronald Sayers (Florence) of Camlachie, Yvonne Fraser (Dr. Norman) of North Gower and Eileen Baggs (Douglas) of Ancaster. She was predeceased by sisters Pauline Mondoux and Marie Sutton and a brother Raymond Sayers. Fran was a lab technician and retired from Welland Chemical Company. Born in Sarnia, she was an avid traveler, gardener and golfer. She moved to England in 1962 and returned in 1967. Visitation will take place at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, June 10th from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Interment will follow visitation at Lakeview Cemetery.
