Frances Riley

At Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Monday, August 2, 2010, FRANCES ALBERTA (BENSON) RILEY, age 93 of Sarnia passed away. She was the dear wife of the late William Richard Riley (1969) and loving mother of Jim Riley and his wife Donna, Bill Riley and his wife Debra, Don Riley and his wife Wanda, Mary Anne Lavolette and her husband Greg, Joe Riley and Len Riley and his friend Rene all of Sarnia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. Born in Port Huron, Fran immigrated to Canada in 1923 at the age of seven and was a longtime Sarnia resident. She was an avid volunteer at the Sarnia Humane Society. Funeral services will be held from the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, August 5th at 1:00 pm. Cremation will follow and interment of her ashes will be at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts in memory of Fran to the Sarnia Humane Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
