At Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Monday, March 29, 2010, FLORENCE JOSEPHINE (KENNEDY) BRANDER, age 84, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late John Rae Taylor Brander. Dear mother of Lynnwood Brander and his wife Norma, Terrance Brander and Alec Brander and his wife Laurie all of Sarnia and Warren Brander and his wife Muriel of Corunna. Loving grandmother of David, Darrin, Bonita, Pam, Ruth, Tamara, Stephanie, Patrick, Jason and Jessica. Also survived by several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Ford of Edmonton, Alberta and Gladys Vanstone of Sarnia. Pre-deceased by two sons John Wayne and Raefield Alex Brander, a grandson Shawn, a granddaughter Michelle, three sisters Mary Slade, Kathleen Moore and Doris Kennedy and a niece Marlene Kennedy. Born and raised in Point Edward, Mrs. Brander was a lifelong Point Edward/Sarnia area resident. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Point Edward and was an avid bingo player. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, April 1 st. at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev'd Grace Coleman Anthony officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Charity of Choice (cheques only please.
