At Victoria Hospital, London, on Thursday, August 1, 2013, V. ALFLEDA (FLEDA) ( POST ) HARRISON, age 81, of Welland, formerly of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Gordon Watson Harrison. Dear mother of Ruth Brown and her husband Mike of Fonthill, Jennifer Harrison of Victoria, B.C., and David Harrison of Hamilton. Loving grandmother of Jordann Harrison of Fonthill. Dear sister of the late Mervin Post and his wife Janet, Sylvia Free and Norma Stroobandt all of Sarnia. Sister-in-law of Joan MacDonald and her husband Jim of Sarnia. Sadly missed by her dog é¢a‚A"Boots.é¢a‚ A lifelong Point Edward/Sarnia resident, Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Port Huron Free Methodist Church for many years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the SARNIA EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH, (707 Talfourd St. at East) on Thursday, August 8 th. at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Deve Persad officiating. Private interment of ashes to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
