Ernest Ellenor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of ERNEST (ERNIE) HUBERT ELLENOR at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on Thursday September 13, 2012 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Anne (Griffin) Ellenor (2005). Cherished father of Kathy Schinkel and her husband Rick of Waterloo. Loving grandfather of Brad, Stephanie, Aaron, Sarah, Lauren and Jason. Father-in-law of Shane Hackett and Ann Ellenor. Predeceased by his daughter Carolyn Hackett (2006), son Michael Ellenor (2008), sisters June, Grace and Frances. Ernie was a lifelong resident of Sarnia and a devoted employee of Imperial Oil Ltd. for over 40 years. He was a valiant man who touched the lives of many people. Cremation has taken place. A celebration honouring the lives of Ernie and Shirley will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Lipodystrophy or Diabetic Research at the Robarts Research Institute, University of Western Ontario. The D. J.
