Eric Griffin

At Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Thursday, September 9, 2010, ERIC STEPHEN GRIFFIN, age 87 of Sarnia passed away. Eric was the loving husband of the late Ruby Edna (Lowe) Griffin (2005) and dear father of Martyn Griffin and his wife Susan of Midland, MI., father in law of Ken Boal of Temiskaming Shores and Bill Purves of Sarnia, grandfather of Tracy Sheffer and her husband Jim Tauvette, Vicki Newman and her husband Dale, Derrick Griffin and his wife Beth, Janet Griffin and her partner Chuck, Barry Gervais and his wife Kim and Blaine Gervais, great-grandfather of Korie, Nicholas, Shaun, Katelyn, Jonathon, Curtis, Jace, Brianna, Ella and Jack and dear friend of Cam Adlam. Eric was predeceased by his daughters Valerie Boal and Patricia Ann Purves. Eric was a veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Navy and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He retired from Polysar after many years of service. A gathering will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, September 13th between the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will be at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial gifts to the St. Joseph's Hospice would be appreciated.
