ANGOVE, EMILY – At Vision Nursing Home with her family by her side on Thursday, December 1, 2016, Emily Anne (Emon) Angove, age 90 of Sarnia passed away. She was the dear wife of William “Bill” Angove and loving mother of Bill (Cheryl), Bob (Sheilla) and Bryan (Jill), Grandma of Brad, Steven, Davis, Brant, Blake and Hadley. She is survived by sisters Helen Ballantyne, Nelle (Jim) Angell and her brother Dr. Joe Emon (Joan). Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her sister Rose Emon. Emily was the proprietor of Emily’s Ladies Wear on Mitton St for over 45 years and was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She and her husband Bill enjoyed traveling, often with family and friends. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A memorial celebration of life Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, December 8th, 2016 at 11:00 am. A private family committal will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Emily made to Vision Nursing Home or St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
