Elsa Bracewell

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on Saturday, August 14, 2010, ELSA PATRICIA (KENNEDY) BRACEWELL, age 81, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late George Bracewell. Dear mother of John Bracewell, George Bracewell and his wife Mary Anne and Kenneth Bracewell and his wife Sherry all of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Melody, Jamie, Ken Jr., Jim, George Jr., Sarah, Justin and Olivia. Great-grandmother of Tyana, Tyler, Connor, Colin and George. A lifelong Sarnia area resident, Mrs. Bracewell was pre-deceased by a son James Benjamin Bracewell, a sister Marjorie White and four brothers Jack, Ken, Bruce and Calvin Kennedy. She was a longtime member of Corunna United Church where she sang in the choir for 22 years. A member of the Red Hat Society, she enjoyed traveling and spent many winters in Florida with her son. At her request, Mrs. Bracewell was transferred to the University of Western Ontario School of Medicine. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Tuesday, August 17 th. at 3:00 p.m. with Angela MacDonald officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
