BOSCHMAN, Elmer Clarence - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on Friday, January 2, 2015. Born in Clarkboro, Saskatchewan. Survived by his best friend and loving wife of 36 years, Joyce; children: Lorna (Jill), Leanne, Mark; grandchildren: Erin (Adam) Palesch, Clayton (Rhea) Leduc, River Boschman; great-grandchildren: Mattea, Malachi; brothers-in-law: Bob, Bill, Jack (Sally), Jerry, Allan, Larry, Jim (Patty); sisters-in-law: Karen (Dave) Last, Betty (Norm) Grant, Delores, Rose (Lyle) Courtis; and aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents: Martin and Justine and in-laws, Stanley and Mildred Cooper. Awarded BA in Economics and Business Administration by Bethel College, Kansas (1953). Operated Sarnia-area A&W restaurants (1963-79). Retired as District Manager, Canadian Federation of Independent Business. Served as elder at St. Giles and St. Andrews Presbyterian Churches. Visitation will be held at D. J. Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (Sarnia) on Monday, January 5 from 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Corunna) on Tuesday, January 6 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice (Sarnia), St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Corunna) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. A spiritual man, Elmer was confident in the safety and love of a forgiving God and the promise of salvation by Jesus Christ for believers.
