Ellen Elizabeth (Betty) MacMillan

With great sadness the family of ELLEN ELIZABETH (BETTY) MacMILLAN (formerly of Burlington, Greensville and Dundas) would like to announce her peaceful passing at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Sunday November 18, 2018 at the age of 99 yrs.  Beloved wife of the late Hugh MacMillan (MacMillan Apiaries, Greensville) (1977).  Loving mother of Allan (Cheryl) and the late David (2012).  Cherished grandmother to Terry (Sarah), Carrie, Ryan (Nicole) and Kathryn (Brad).  Great-grandmother to Dominic, Jakob, Cailyn and Mason.  Predeceased by parents Percy and Blanche Thorpe, brothers Alan (Anne), Murray (Alice) and George (Verna).  Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and gathering will be held at Christ Church Anglican at Bullock's Corners, Greensville, Ontario on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 between the hours of 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  A committal of ashes will take place in the church cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family wishes express their gratitude to V.O.N., Shine at Home, the nurses and staff of the 4th floor at Bluewater Health and Trillium Villa Nursing Home for their care and compassion during Mom’s stay.  Arrangements entrusted to the D.
