Eleanor Marie Harris

July 27, 1942 - February 22, 2019

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Eleanor Harris.  Eleanor is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Brad Drury,  and her beloved grandchildren Lauren Drury (Brad Hodgson) and Aaron Drury (Aleta Jansen) and adored great grandson Hunter Hodgson.  Also survived by sisters Nora Eldridge and her children Carey Eldridge and Bill Eldridge and Delores Martin and her children Jim Brown and Greg Brown.  Eleanor was predeceased by her husband George Duke Harris in 2017, son Bob Harris, parents Lee and Fred Martin and in laws Elsie and George Harris, brother Freddie Martin and brother Joe Martin. Eleanor retired from Union Carbide (Nova), was a lifetime member of St Paul's Anglican Church, enjoyed the card ladies, the Florida gang and was number 1 supporter of anything Lauren and Aaron were doing, she was the drop everything kind of Mom and Gramma whenever we called on her. We have lost a big piece of our family puzzle. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St Paul's Anglican Church 210 Michigan Ave Point Edward on Friday March 1st at 12:00pm. The family will receive friends at the church 11:00am until time of service. Special thank you to the staff at Landmark Village and Dr. Madison and the Palliative Care Team at St. Joseph’s Hospice. Donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia, Canadian Mental Health Association or Charity of your choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
