At her residence on Tuesday October 18, 2011 EDITH MAUDE (DUFFIELD) GATES age 99, beloved wife of the late James Alexander Gates(2001). Dear mother of Bruce Gates of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Ian Gates (Elaine) and Cathy Dryburg (Brian) and great- grandmother of 5 great-granddaughters. Sister of Gertrude McPhedran of Sarnia and sister-in-law of Grace Duffield and Inez Burran (Ed). Many nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by brothers Ernie, Archie and Jack. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Saturday October 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice(cheques only please). Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE.
