Douglas Reginald Waller

WALLER, Douglas Reginald – Born January 3, 1940 in Sarnia, passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Donna Gaye (Cummings) Waller (February 7, 2013).

Proud father of Cindy (Tom) Mervich, Scott Waller, Shelley Waller and Anne (Scott) Blunt. Loving grandfather of Brad Mervich, Krystal and Jake Waller. Dear brother of Vi Henderson. Brother-in-law to Pat Kemp, Dick (Sue) Cummings, and Suzanne Cummings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Predeceased by his parents Bloss (Duke) and Rachel Waller. Brothers and sisters Jean (Roy) Reynolds, Chris (Betty) Waller, Helen (Ron) Hamel, Doris (Irvin) Tremain, Bob Henderson, and John (Joan) Waller. Father in-law and mother-in-law David and Dorothy Cummings. Brothers-in-law Orm Kemp and Gerry Cummings and sister-in-law Joy Rodenbucher. Niece Marie Tremain and nephew Tim Kemp.

Doug was adoringly referred to as the baby of the family. He had big heart and a great sense of humour and loved to make everyone laugh. He was very proud of his family and was looking forward to welcoming a great-granddaughter this month. He will be greatly missed.

A special thank you to the staff and residents at Fiddick’s Nursing Home in Petrolia. A private service will take place at D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE with Rev. Bob Gibson officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
