Passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on Friday, January 23, 2015, DOROTHY ELIZA ISABELLA NEAL (nee Taylor). of Sarnia. Predeceased by her loving husband Allan Neal (1994). Cherished mother of Bonnie Arbour (Don), William Neal Ph.D. of Los Angeles (Michele), Janet Stewart (John), and Laurie Simpson, all of Sarnia. Will be dearly missed by her nine grandchildren - Paula (Steve), Michelle (Trevor), Heather (Zvonimir), Scott, Jason (Ubay), Allasan (Mike), Alaina (Johan), Christopher, Alysia (Matt); and five great grandchildren + one more on the way. Dorothy was a registered nurse and a graduate of Victoria Hospital in London. She was an Elder at Laurel - Lea St. Matthews Presbyterian Church, Past Provincial Board Director of the Women's Institute, Past President of Hamilton and London Synodical W.M.S. of the Presbyterian Church and was very active in the Sarnia Presbyterial. Dorothy was also a member of Sarnia Chapter # 6 O.E.S., a member of the Sarnia Humane Society and the Sarnia Horticultural Society. Dorothy was a committed volunteer at Inn of the Good Shepherd and served as nurse at Camp Kintail for many years. She was honoured by the Sertoma Club of Sarnia as Woman of the Year in 1972 and later named to Mayor Mike Bradley's honour list. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE where friends visited with the family on Sunday afternoon and evening from the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday January 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Laurel - Lea St. Matthews Presbyterian Church. Interment at Bear Creek Cemetery in Brigden. The family would appreciate Memorial gifts in memory of Dorothy be made to Laurel - Lea St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Sarnia Humane Society or Inn of the Good Shepherd.
