Dorothy MacKinnon

It is with greatly saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our wonderful mother and best friend DOROTHY M. MacKINNON, age 83. Predeceased by her husband Henry E. MacKinnon and her parents John and Alice Kelly. Cherished mother of Alice Frew and her husband Bryan, Susan Miller and her husband Gerry and Henry Bruce MacKinnon. Loving grandmother of Mrs. Terri Frew-Trewartha (Kevin), Kelli Frew (Ty Darcy), Randy Frew, David Miller (Annette), Daniel Miller (Anne), Amanda Griffith (Peter), Andrew MacKinnon and great-grandmother of Jason, Brooke and Emily Miller, Noah, Ava, Kyra and Bella Griffith. Dear sister of Mrs. Jean Olney (Walter) of Port Huron, Michigan. Survived and loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was a loving and generous person who enjoyed the company of her family and friends and the simple things in life. She very much enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and shopping with her daughters and son. She was an avid hockey fan-Go Sting and Legionnaires. The family would like to thank the staff of Bluewater Health for their special care of our Mom. A private family service will be held as she wished.
