Dorothy Audrey Fisher (nee Walker) passed away at Bluewater Health Hospital Sarnia on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the age of 85. Dorothy was born on February 9, 1931 in Savannah, Georgia to parents Hanna and Gordon Walker, then moved to Belmont Ontario as a young child. In 1953 she married Howard Fisher (2005) from Hyde Park (London, Ontario) and then they moved to Sarnia for his employment with C.N.R. Together they raised three children; Wendy Wright (Glen), Paul Fisher and Karen Robson (1989). She was a loving âGramâ to grandsons; Corey (Michelle) and Kevin (Meghan) Wright and âGrandyâ to four great grand-children; Cailyn and Gavin Wright, Ben Monk and Xander Monk â Wright all of Sarnia. Dorothy was a long â time member of Dunlop United Church and a C.G.I.T. (Canadian Girls in Training) Leader and a Sunday School Teacher there for many years. She had a lifetime love of music and in her younger years she enjoyed playing her keyboard, line dancing, reading and travelling. Her favorite quote was

Memorial donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a Charity of Choice. Private family committal services were held at St. George Cemetery in Hyde Park. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia)
