At Bluewater Health Norman site on Saturday January 17, 2009 DORIS PAULINE RACHEL LENA (COOK) HARDY age 77 of Point Edward, wife of the late Kenneth Roy Hardy(1991). Dear mother of Ken Hardy Jr. of Sarnia, Ric Hardy (Kim) of Alvinston, Gary Hardy (Janet) of Petrolia, Doris Cuthbert (Randy Cobb) of Sarnia, Bruce Hardy of Sarnia, Randy Hardy (Cindy) of Windsor and Richard P. Hardy of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Sister in law of Dede Cook, Doreen Laur, Betty and Don Maddock, William Wright and Reg and Jim Hardy. Predeceased by daughter Sherry Hardy Thompson (2004), parents William and Mary Cook, brothers Walter, William and Len and sisters Maxine Cook and Florence Archibald. Born in Sarnia Doris was a longtime Point Edward resident. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Wednesday January 21st at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday afternoon and evening from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or Point Edward Ex-Servicemens Club (cheques only please).
