Donald Yvon Vaillancourt

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of DON VAILLANCOURT on January 2, 2022 after a brief illness. Don leaves his wife of 49 years Liz, and children Chris (Tammy), Cory (Julie), Caleigh (Mitch), Craig (Ashley) and Brad (Candice). Don also leaves behind his 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also along siblings Gisele (Rik), Yvon (Vicky), Mike (Valerie), John (Trish), Danny (Kat) and Lucy (David). Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Roger and Bernie as well as daughter Carrie. Best friend Curt Thorne and all his cruising buddies from the Sarnia Street Machines.

Don was a retired Insulator of Local 95 after many years of service. He was an avid classic car buff and very passionate for his wood working projects as well as the love and passion for cooking homemade meals and canning.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the spring with interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at
