Donald Richard Rivait

RIVAIT, DONALD RICHARD – It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald Richard Rivait at Sumac Lodge Nursing Home on Sunday February 3, 2019 at the age 83 of Sarnia. Don was the loving husband and best friend of Shirley (Tobin) Rivait and dear father of Jim & Jan Rivait, Cathy & Ben Slabysz, the late Ronnie(2017) & Cheryl Rivait, Michelle & Sandy Mackenzie and Michael Rivait, grandpa of  14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Beverley Jamieson (late Ken) and Cecile Robb (Mike Sumner).  Don was predeceased by his mother Lena (Alice) and father Tony Futia.  Cremation has taken place.  Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE where the family will receive friends on Thursday February 7th from the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Friday February 8th at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at a later date.  Memorial donations made to St. Joseph’s Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
