Donald Gallie

At Bluewater Health Mitton Site on Saturday, September 5, 2009, DONALD RUSSELL GALLIE, age 85 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband of the late Hilary Iris Gallie (2003), dear father of Pamela Gallie and Donna Harris and her husband Ross of Sarnia, father in law of Carla Gallie of Sarnia, loving grandfather of Russell Gallie Jr., Kenneth Gallie, Shane Tayler and his wife Jen, Lindsay Martin and Jordan Helps, great grandfather of Kyle and Justin Gallie and Ryan and Ally Tayler, brother of Betty Schafer and her husband John of Mission, BC. and Robert Gallie and his wife June of Southampton. He was predeceased by his son Russell Gallie Jr. (2005), grand daughter in law Pamela Gallie (2008), brother Douglas Gallie and his sister Helen Kroll. Don was a veteran of WWll with the RCAF and was the Brights Grove Postmaster until his retirement in 1987. A private family celebration of Don's life will be held at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday, September 10th at 11:00 am. Memorial gifts to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated (cheques only please).
