Donald Fitchett

At St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital, Port Huron Michigan, on Sunday November 20th , 2011, DONALD HOWARD FITCHETT age 80, passed away. Will be missed by his wife Patricia (Skerratt, Baxter) Fitchett. Father of Linda of Sarnia, Tom of Alberta, Michael and his wife Mary of Sarnia, Cheryl Bissett (Dave) of Saginaw Michigan, Ben Baxter (Mary - Helen) of Sarnia. Grandfather of Dan, Jennifer, David, Tanya, Chelsey, Emily, Brian and Steven and great grand daughter Hannah. Brother of Ruth Kell of Sarnia. Predeceased by his first wife Mary Ann (Beatrice) (Varley) Fitchett (1995), and his brother Dean. Donald was a Tinsmith with Polysar for 37 years. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors and an avid fan of the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club. Funeral services will be held from the CHAPEL OF THE D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday November 24th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Angela MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Sarnia Humane Society or Charity of Choice.
