Dianne Marie Gilbert

Dianne Gilbert (Chalmers) passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday November 30th, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends. In addition to her loving husband Douglas Gilbert, Dianne leaves behind her children, Ruth-Ann Lumley (Harvey), Kevin Lumley, Shawn Lumley (Theresa), Jillian Lumley - Gilbert, Crystal Gilbert (Ross), Rebecca Sanford (Chris). Dianne was a loving Nan to 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and sister of Darlene Gilbert (Bill), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Diane has gone to meet her parents, Robert (2019) & Meredith Chalmers (2006), her sister Linda Taylor (2021), brother Robert Chalmers (2020), brother-in-law Don Gilbert and her son Charles Gilbert (1998).

Dianne was a long-time volunteer of The Inn of the Good Shepherd. 

Resting at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia) where services will be held on Wednesday December 6^th at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and also on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on her behalf to the Inn of the Good Shepherd in honor of her years of dedication and service to others.
