Diane Ruhe

Diane Ruhe - October 21, 1950 - September 28, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Ruhe (Bigras) on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband Tony VanDerZeeuw and her children Kandie (John), Tammy (Bruce), Natalie (Rick) and Tony Jr. (Sylvie). She was the grandmother of Miranda, Owen, Dax, Noelle, Megan and Calvin and great-grandmother of Josephine and Thomas, sister of Roger and Susie and Aunt Diane to several nieces and nephews.

She was a beacon of light in our world. She selflessly gave her time to anyone in need. Our home was often filled with any number of family members and friends, whether it was for a quick visit, a night of playing cards or the celebration of a holiday. She was well known for her career of 25 years of caring for more than 40 seniors in the family home. Gardening was her passion and all of her efforts will be here for years for all of us to enjoy.

We would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospice. A celebration of life will take place on October 21st, 2024 and details will follow shortly.
