At St. Joseph's Hospice on Monday, November 29, 2010, DEAN RAYMOND DeLONG, age 79 of Sarnia passed away. He is the loving husband of Karen Louise (Geddes) DeLong of Sarnia and dear father of Randall and his wife Lesley of Toronto, brother of Joyce Pederson (Harry) of Bright's Grove, Helen Baird (Glen) of Oshawa, Carolea Fox of Newcastle and Sandra Kivi (John) of Calgary, brother in law of Sharla Manser (Fred) of Kirkland Lake, Alec Hamilton (Catherine) of Devon, AB. and Carol DeLong of Sarnia. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was predeceased by sisters Lorraine, Leona and Valerie and his brother Ivan and brother in laws Phillip Fox and Raymond London. Dean retired from Polysar after 40 years of service and was a member of Laurel Lea/St. Mathew's Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will be held at Laurel Lea/St. Mathew's Church (837 Exmouth Street) on Saturday, December 4th at 11:00 am. Private interment services will be held later at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice or Laurel Lea/St. Matthews Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be sent through djrobbfh@ebtech.net
