David Lester

At Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, after a short battle with lung cancer on Saturday October 17, 2009, DAVID DONALD LESTER. He was born December 20, 1964. David belonged to the Pipefitters Union #663 for 20 years. Dear father of Jessica, Marianne and Jeremy Lester. Survived by loving partner and best friend Caroline Exley, loving mother Vida Lester-Exley, grandmother Verna Lester, brother Raymond (Danielle), sister Marianne (Joel), brother Stephen (Tracy), extended family Susan Junak (Joe) and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and mother of his children. Predeceased by his father Donald Raymond Lester (1986) and by step father Jack Exley (2009). David enjoyed golfing, playing pool and making people laugh and spending time with family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received Wednesday October 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE followed by a celebration of life on Thursday October 22nd at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only please).
