David Garry Laidlaw

LAIDLAW, GARRY - It is with sadness that the family of David Garry Laidlaw announce his peaceful passing at Bluewater Health early on June 22nd. He is survived by his wife Seonaid, daughter Janet (Ben) and son Bruce (Chris), Julie and Justin. His brother Don (Jean) and cousins Rebecca (Ray) and Katie, and in Scotland, his brother-in-law Sandy (late Sylvia), Mark and Angela and sister-in-law Denise (late Douglas), Hilary. He was predeceased by his mother Mabel Megarry Laidlaw (1983) and his father Donald James Laidlaw (1986). Many thanks to the staff of BWH who provided excellent and friendly care. Garry enjoyed working for the L.C.B.O. and was a long-time member of Canon Davis Memorial Church and former Warden. Garry was born in Sarnia in 1935 and had much knowledge and interest in local history. He enjoyed his garden with his friendly neighbours and always his four legged friends. Memorial service will be held at Canon Davis Memorial Church (380 Russell St. North at Maxwell St. Sarnia) on June 30, 2018 at 2pm.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your favorite charity or Sarnia Humane Society.
