David Walter Capps

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Marshall Gowland Manor Nursing Home, DAVID WALTER CAPPS, passed away at the age of 70. Loving husband and best friend to Donna Capps. Dear father of Jason Rodey and his fiancé Crystal, Justin Rodey, Jeff Rodey and Jennifer Rodey and her fiancé Coddie. Fantastic papa to Sydney, Charles, Jailynn, Kailynn and Issac. Will be missed by his brothers; Milton (Gabey), Mark and his sisters; Charlene (Mike) and Louise Opal St. Louis and brother in – law Jay (Heather) and sister in – law’s Debbie Somers (Jimmie), Marjorie Hill (John),Theresa, Cissy, as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends. Also left to mourn are his furry friends, his dog Passion and his two cats Taz and Callie. Predeceased by his parents David and Marillia Capps. David retired from Nova Chemical. The family wishes to thank the doctors and  nursing home staff on the Ivey Wing at Marshall Gowland Manor. Family and friends may visit with the family at the  D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia) on  Tuesday, October 2, 2018,  between the hours of 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., with cremation to follow. In keeping with David’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the Sarnia Alzheimer’s Society are appreciated by the family.
