Dan Horner

Suddenly, in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday May 23, 2010, DAN BARR HORNER, age 62, of Point Edward, beloved husband and best friend of the late Darlene é¢a‚A"Gayeé¢a‚ Horner (2006). Beloved father of Rebecca Horner, Meighan Horner and her husband Randy Le May and Kate Burgess and her husband Rick. Loving grandfather of Letitia and Justin Le May, Emmy and Jeff Wasson and Jake Burgess. Brother of Mona Gibson (Grant) of Shawville, Quebec, Jack (Belinda) of Sarnia, Janey Gray of Sarnia, and Jennifer Bowman (Tom) of Petrolia. Brother in law of Rosemary, Mary Margaret and Barbara Horner, Gerry Mero (Karen), Jim Mero (Tracy) and Dulcie Sinnett (Tom). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Beulah, parents Beulah and Gerald, brothers Bill, Wayne, Clarke and Doug and a sister Lenora. A lifelong Point Edward resident, Mr. Horner was a member of the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen's Club and the Point Edward Optimist Club. He was produce manager with A&P for many years. Cremation will take place. A celebration of Dan's life will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, May 31st at 11:00 am with visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service.
