Craig Alexander Matt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of CRAIG ALEXANDER MATT at his residence on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at the age of 51 years. Beloved husband of Maria Ogden. Dear father of Randy and his spouse Korrina Schneider, Jessica Matt as well as his step-daughter Lindsay Lawson. Cherished grandfather of Lylah, Emily, Teagan, Quinn and Phoenix. Craig is also survived by his mother Donna Matt and step-father Les Steele, sister Shannon Authier, brother Joe Wilson, sister-in-law Susan O’Hanlon and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Craig was born in Windsor on March 31, 1970 to parents Donna and the late Gary Matt. Craig was a Heavy Duty Mechanic working at Preferred Towing, it was his passion. Craig’s boss and co-workers became not only friends but family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia). Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you
the day God called you Home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide;
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same;
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
